Applied NLP for leaders

I am running day one of a two day programme for the colleges on the east of Scotland on Monday 16th January  2012 at Jewel and Esk College at their Edinburgh Campus. The course will look at applying NLP techniques in your role as a leader in a college. Pre course material has been issued to participants prior to Christmas just to get them interested and curious for more.

2012 will certainly bring further radical changes to our scottish colleges with a number of mergers planned and discussions taking place around the country for more.  Change is inevitiable and are you equipped with the skills to deliver the reform agenda required.

This programme will look at a number of topics including problem thinking to outcome thinking, anchoring ,establishing goals using well-formed outcomes process and perceptual positioning.

Ask yourself these questions now:

Would it be useful to have a new way to  approach problems?

How many times have you spent in a meeting going round and round a problem without a solution?

Do you ever decide you want something and then find it doesn’t happen or make plans and targets that you don’t follow through?

If you have decided on your goals, would it be helpful for you to have a way of making them happen?
